Leinbach Services has helped hundreds of local businesses and homes with their handyman, heating and air conditioning problems. Today, the company, which started out of the trunk of a ’88 Oldsmobile, has 12 employees, seven work vans, and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, even on holidays.

Leinbach Services is a member of the Business Networking International (BNI) chapters of Johnson City, Kingsport, and Bristol. In 2009, Jim co-founded the TNVA Business Alliance, which is a meeting for local business owners to learn how to market on the internet. He also serves as an active member in the Kingsport, Johnson City and Bristol Chambers of Commerce.

In his free time, Jim ministers to those affected by tragedy and natural disasters. He was an on-call chaplain for several local hospitals . Now he is an on-call chaplain  for Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department.  He witnessed, as a Billy Graham Rapid Response team member, the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Port Arthur Texas hurricane, Virginia Tech College shooting, Pulaski, Va. tornado, West Virginia Mine explosion, and the Northern Illinois University shooting. In November of 2012, he joined the relief effort in  Ventnor city, N.J. in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

Ever since Teri was a little girl, she loved getting a new pair of pajamas. When she heard that battered women and children needed pajamas at local women’s shelters, she remembered the feeling she had when she was young. Since 2009, Teri has collected hundreds of  pairs of pajamas for the Hope House, Abuse Alternative, and Safe House.

The two of them have spent their lifetimes remodeling homes. Jim grew up flipping houses with his parents, and Teri experienced it with them after high school graduation and a wedding. They love recreating every home they have lived in throughout their marriage.
